Never let it be said that Britain contributed nothing to world happiness.

J i both love and hate you for brining me these :P

oh-canada:

April is the Canadian Cancer Society’s Daffodil Month, and this year you can support their worthy cause by wearing a daffodil pin, much like you would wear a poppy in November.
Click here to see where you can find a pin near you (I got mine at a Starbucks, and they are everywhere!). You can also wear a virtual pin on Twitter and Facebook.
The month leads up to April 27, which is Daffodil Day. From the Canadian Cancer Society website:

On Daffodil Day we ask Canadians to take a moment to reflect upon the thousands of people who are living with cancer and to remember those who have died. On this important day we encourage Canadians to do something special for those living with cancer or to contribute in some way to the fight against this disease.

You can donate to the Society by clicking here, but you can also do little things to reflect upon the day. You can think of those you know or love who have fought or lost a battle with cancer, do a favour for someone you know impacted by the disease, or educate others on the importance of raising funds for research.
